Red Meranti
Red Meranti was previously referred to as Philippine Mahogany. Color is mostly medium red-brown with some variation from light to dark. All boards are kilm dried and essentially knot free. The PHND grade allows tiny pinholes in some pieces. All boards are surface four sides and have square edges other than eased edge 1″x4″, 5/4″x4″ and 5/4″x6″. Net thickness for 1″, 5/4″ and 2″ boards are ¾”, 1″ and 1-3/4″.

ALASKAN YELLOW CEDAR
Alaskan Yellow Cedar is a gorgeous, white to yellowish western softwood found along the Pacific coast from southeast Alaska to Oregon. If left untreated, it will take on a silver-gray hue. It’s an excellent wood for exterior uses and its benefits include: resistance to decay, smooth, soft splinter resistant surface, and like Douglas Fir, it is very strong.

HEMLOCK
Western Hemlock is the single most plentiful tree species in the upper Western US and coastal regions of British Columbia, Canada. An established softwood specie that provides a beautiful pale color with a uniform, attractive grain pattern. All clear grade vertical grain fiber.
